clip_image002[11] Geographic data are an important part of many environmental and natural resource projects. GPS technology can provide an efficient and accurate way to collect those data in the field. WET has experience with both mapping-grade and survey-grade GPS units, and uses GPS equipment manufactured by TRIMBLE Navigation, Ltd. and Leica Geosystems. These manufacturers are leaders in the field of GPS technology.

WET also utilizes Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) products such as ARC/INFO and ArcGIS to build and maintain Geographic Information Systems (GISs) that incorporate GPS data. By importing GPS-collected data directly into the GIS, WET is able to combine existing geographic data with newly collected GPS data seamlessly. WET offers complete geographic data analysis and mapping services to address the many issues related to facilities management, environmental impact, natural resource management, and location studies.
